On June 1, 2024, the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley will be hosting its 5th Mahoning Valley Warrior competition at the Canfield Fairgrounds. This unique event presented by: the Knapp Center for Childhood Development brings together athletes from NE Ohio and Western Pennsylvania to prove their toughness. It also brings together autism families, as well as many Mahoning Valley families and businesses that support them. It features our People-Powered Tractor Pull, Strongman Competitions, Kids Fun Run (Sponsored by: ABA Therapy Solutions), Kids Carnival (Sponsored by: Progressive ABA Therapy), our annual Valley Autism 5K & 1-Mile Walk (Sponsored by: Rich Center for Autism) and the largest Special Needs Resource Fair in the Valley.

The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley was founded in 1989 to support families in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Our Mission is to create connections empowering the autism community with the resources needed to live fully.

Autism prevalence continues to increase. Now one in 44 children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.  Help us continue providing needed programs and resources to support Mahoning Valley families affected by autism. In 2021, we provided over 50 events for families. We have plans to continue to increase programs and opportunities with a focus on more for our teens and young adults.

Our quality programming costs at least $75,000 per year. This is why we need your support.
