About Mahoning Valley Warrior
Founded in 2019, the Mahoning Valley Warrior is the annual signature fundraiser hosted by the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley.
A Competition of Strength and Spirit
The Mahoning Valley Warrior events attract strength athletes, runners, walkers, and groups from around the tri-state area. Participants can join individual events or choose from a lineup that includes:
- People-Powered Tractor Pull (group event)
- Kids’ 400-Meter Fun Run
- Autism 1-Mile Support Walk
- Valley Autism 5K
- Individual Strength Events
For those aiming to claim the title of MAHONING VALLEY WARRIOR (male and female categories), elite competitors can take on the Warrior Quadrathlon, consisting of a 5K, Individual People-Powered Tractor Pull, and two challenging Strongman events. The winners will earn a cash prize, a custom winner’s belt, and the prestigious yearlong bragging rights as the Mahoning Valley Warrior!
A Gathering of Warriors
We believe there are two kinds of warriors:
- Strength Warriors – Athletes who challenge their limits and pursue excellence.
- Autism Warriors – Parents and families who tirelessly advocate for better care, education, and opportunities for their children with autism.
Mahoning Valley Warrior offers a chance to prove your athletic prowess while supporting the autism community. It’s an event where athletes compete, and families come together for a morning filled with community, education, and support.
