Dr. Ted Suzelis, ND and his wife, Robin started the Valley Autism 5K eleven years ago as a way to raise funds for the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley. They had a young son who had autism and a second son with global delays (later diagnosed with Autism) and they wanted to help support the organization. The following year they helped the Autism Society take over the event and they have supported the event and the organization ever since. Robin joined the ASMV Board of Directors, later joined the staff serving as Director and now Information & Referral Specialist.
